Recent transactional highlights:
- Assisted Gránit Asset Management in the EUR 52 million acquisition of Equilibrium 1 office building.
- Assisted MedLife, the largest private healthcare network in Romania, in increasing its syndicated loan by up to EUR 50 million, thus reaching a total of EUR 330 million.
- Advised Globant, an IT and software development company present in 33 countries with more than 29,000 employees worldwide, throughout the entire process of merging two Romanian subsidiaries – Pentalog Romania S.R.L. and Pentalog HR Romania S.R.L.
- Was part of the international team of advisors that assisted the Chinese Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group Co., Ltd. in the acquisition of the Alu Menziken Group from Montana Aerospace AG.
- Assisted Mexican investor Grupo Bimbo in the acquisition of Vel Pitar, the leader of the Romanian market of bread and bakery products.
- Assisted CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area, in acquiring the logistics portfolio fully owned by Globalworth, the largest office investor in CEE.
- Assisted AAylex One, one of the leading players in the Romanian food industry, in connection with a EUR 20 million loan facility granted by a syndicate of banks.
- Assisted a syndicate of banks in providing a loan facility totalling EUR 101.5 to RodBun Group, one of Romania’s most important players in the agricultural field, by refinancing and increasing existing facilities by EUR 37.14 million.
- Assisted a syndicate of banks with the amendment and extension until 2026 of USD 150 million working capital credit facilities for ALRO S.A., one of the largest vertically integrated aluminium producers in Europe, by production capacity.
- Was part of the international team of advisors that assisted Insight Enterprises, a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator focused on driving client success through digital transformation, in acquiring Amdaris, a software development and digital services company based in the UK, with service delivery centres located in several Eastern European countries.
- Was part of the international team of advisors that assisted NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc., one of the world’s leading logistics companies, in acquiring the shares of the multiple subsidiaries of Cargo-Partner Group Holding AG (Cargo-Partner), which provides global logistics services through its main business sites in Central and Eastern Europe.
- Was part of the international team of advisors that assisted CANCOM SE, one of the leading integrated IT service providers in Germany, in the acquisition of K-Businesscom-Group and all its subsidiaries, Austria’s leading provider of IT&C solutions and services.
- Assisted a syndicate of banks in providing EUR 550 million in financing to the Swiss group Ameropa, which owns some of the largest local agribusiness companies – Azomures, Romania’s largest fertilizer producer, Ameropa Grains SA, a major grain trader, and Chimpex, a leader in port operations.
- Assisted Impact Developer & Contractor SA, a leading real estate developer in Romania, in connection with a EUR 8 million corporate bond issue.
- Assisted OTP Bank Romania and OTP Group in a EUR 57.80 million financing for real estate developer Exigent Property Investment SRL.
- Assisted Holcim Romania, one of the leaders in the construction materials industry in Romania, with the expansion of its aggregates division through the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Stones Business Development SRL.
- Assisted Bioivt, a leading global provider of high-quality biological specimens and value-added services in the acquisition of a European company with local (Romanian) presence, leader in the human tissue procurement and clinical trial services.
- Assisted ExxonMobil in closing the sale of its participation in Neptun Deep offshore project to Romgaz, one of the most important M&A transactions in the energy sector ever rolled out on the local market.
