Šelih & Partnerji advised advised Robinhood on its acquisition of global cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp, supporting the regulatory approval process in Slovenia. The mandate involved securing regulatory clearances relating to Bitstamp’s Slovenian MiFID licence, a key asset underpinning the target’s European operations.


The firm also advised Mercator on a major internal restructuring that separated its extensive real estate portfolio into two newly established entities. The mandate involved the demerger of property holding, leasing and subleasing operations, with commercial real estate properties transferred into separate companies to streamline operations and enhance transparency in property management.
