Meet the Team

Editorial
  • Managing Editor

    Karry is Managing Editor of IFLR. She manages the team and is responsible for IFLR's content. She also sits on the editorial judging panels of IFLR's global awards and the Women in Business Law Awards. Before joining the legal media industry, she was project manager at a startup focused on sustainable lifestyle media and events.
Research
  • Head of Research

    James has been responsible for the IFLR awards since 2016 and joined IFLR1000 as managing editor in May 2023. He leads the EMEA research team across IFLR’s sister brands ITR and MIP and oversees all awards research. He previously managed the research team that worked across the Euromoney, GlobalCapital and IJ Global awards programmes.
  • Editor, Awards Research

    John is the editor for awards research with responsibility for the legal awards. John has led the research for the Women in Business Law, Life Sciences and ITR awards. He covers a wide array of legal specialisms globally and has supported on IFLR’s awards. John is based in the UK and has been a part of the group since 2019. He obtained his LLB in 2020.
  • Head of EMEA Research

    Danielle joined IFLR as IFLR1000 EMEA Editor in 2021 and is the main point of contact for IFLR1000 and IFLR EMEA research. She manages the EMEA research team and oversees all research in the region. She was previously the Editor of Benchmark Litigation Europe and has been working in legal research and benchmarking since 2017.


  • Senior Researcher


    Alex joined IFLR in March 2021. He works as part of the Europe, Middle East & Africa team for IFLR1000 and leads on the IFLR Europe Awards. Previously he worked in the Scottish Parliament and for a think tank.
  • Asia-Pacific Researcher

    Nancy joined IFLR in January 2022. She covers legal research in APAC for IFLR1000 and leads the IFLR APAC awards. She also writes regularly for IFLR, reporting on regulations, capital markets and digital currencies.
  • Americas Researcher

    Brandon joined IFLR in May 2022. He covers legal research for North America, The Caribbean and Latin America for IFLR1000. He’s also a member of the Race, Ethnicity & Faith (REF) ERG. He graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Entrepreneurship.


  • EMEA Researcher

    Deborah joined IFLR in April 2022. She covers legal research for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for IFLR1000. Deborah is a Nigerian qualified lawyer and worked as a legal associate in top-tier law firm in Nigeria prior to joining IFLR.


  • EMEA Researcher

    Maria joined IFLR in June 2022. She covers legal research for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for IFLR1000. Maria is a Colombian qualified lawyer. She has a master’s degree in law from Warwick University, and over 15 years of experience in the legal field, in both public and private sectors.

  • Asia-Pacific Researcher

    Elva joined IFLR1000 in September 2022 and she is part of the APAC research team. She analyzes legal transaction data in Southeast and Eastern Asia, Southern Asia and Australasia, and Central Asia countries. Previously she was a financial reporter.

    Hong Kong SAR-based Anicette handles business development for the entire APAC region. She collaborates with firms to showcase their expertise to our buyers of legal services focusing on the law of international capital markets, banking, M&A, and financial regulation through our different platforms and formats, including thought leadership.
  • EMEA business development manager

    Sanawa handles business development for the EMEA region, helping firms based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa showcase their work. Contact Sanawa to tell your story from your perspective and increase brand awareness to the IFLR international viewership which is mainly made up of in-house counsel from global companies and lawyers from the world’s leading law firms.

    Ahmed is an account manager who looks after a global portfolio of existing and new subscribers for Euromoney's legal accreditation and publishing products. He collaborates with law firms and helps them manage and take control of their reputations, to showcase their expertise to our global audience through our different platforms and formats, including thought leadership content.
