Alina Radu is a seasoned banking and finance specialist with 27 years of professional experience. She heads NNDKP’s Banking and Finance practice.
Alina contributed to and coordinated a wide range of sophisticated projects, including complex mergers and acquisitions in the banking sector, financing transactions, sales/acquisitions, complex contractual arrangements, as well as various regulatory matters in the financial services field.
She regularly advises on multi-jurisdictional or domestic financing and refinancing facilities, providing support in relation to complex financing and security structures, as well as core aspects of the activity of credit and financial institutions. Alina also addresses key financing aspects in various borrower default or insolvency scenarios.
Assisted MedLife, the largest private healthcare network in Romania, in increasing its syndicated loan by up to EUR 50 million, thus reaching a total of EUR 330 million.
Advised the lenders on one of the largest financing transactions in the local market (EUR 940 million) involving three major players in the Romanian pharmaceutical & healthcare industry.
Assisted a syndicate of banks with the amendment and extension until 2026 of USD 150 million working capital credit facilities for ALRO S.A., one of the largest vertically integrated aluminium producers in Europe, by production capacity.
Assisted Impact Developer & Contractor SA in connection with a EUR 8 million corporate bond issue.
