Karatzas & Partners Law Firm was founded in 1963, under the name Karatzas Law Offices. From its establishment, it has been active in the fields of civil, company, commercial and financial law, with its clientele being both Greek and international. We provide services in banking and finance law, capital markets law, competition law, energy law, mergers and acquisitions, privatization, project finance law, real estate law, telecommunications law, data protection, intellectual property, employment and tax law. We also specialize in litigation, both before courts and arbitral tribunals.

In view of our leading position in the Greek legal market, we are consistently rated by legal directories such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and IFLR1000 as a first-tier firm and our partners are considered among the top lawyers in Greece. From 2004 onwards, we have been regularly recognized by Chambers and IFLR, receiving multiple Greek Law Firm of the Year awards. Most recently, we were honoured with the Greece Firm of the Year award at the Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2025 and the Disability Advocacy Firm of the Year award at the Social Impact EMEA Awards 2025.

Our firm currently consists of 10 Partners, 7 Senior Counsel, 48 Associates, 9 Trainee Lawyers and 18 employees on supporting functions (Marketing, HR, Accounting department, IT, administrative staff, etc.).
