We are pleased to announce that our firm advised HELLENiQ ENERGY on the acquisition of the entire share capital of the Greek subsidiary of the German group ABO ENERGY GmbH & Co. KGaA, ABO Energy Hellas and six affiliated companies, by its wholly owned subsidiary, HELLENiQ Renewables. The deal includes a 1.5 GW portfolio of 22 RES projects under development across all renewable technologies (including energy storage projects), as well as a development and construction platform for renewable energy projects.

This strategic acquisition expands HELLENiQ ENERGY’s RES pipeline to over 6 GW, supporting its goal of advancing its energy transition plan in Southeastern Europe.

Our core team was led by Christina Faitakis and consisted of Anastasia Petta and Ilianna Ioannou, as well as Athena Economou, Pantelis Zalokostas, Katerina Toumpanou, Dimitra Karampela, Ioulia Baslari, Mara Skiada, Konstantina Chranioti, Vasiliki Rogakou, Georgia Patiri, Marilia Platsa, Konstantina Psaridou and Konstantinos Katris.

Appreciation goes out to all parties involved!
