Acted for Tokyo-listed Taisei Lamick in connection with the sale of approximately 80.2% equity interest in Taisei Lamick’s subsidiary, Taisei Lamick Malaysia, to Scientex Packaging Film for a total consideration of RM63.8 million ($13.7 million). The partnership between the parties, leveraging the strong reputation and collective strengths of Scientex and Taisei Lamick, is poised to bring industry-defining cost-competitive quality products to regional clientele. 

Acted for the shareholders of Mountness, including 7 Rainbow Group, Yeong Chi Keong, Chok Chai Thin and Marvelz Asset Management, in relation to the sale of their ordinary shares to Metta Food & Lifestyle for a total consideration of RM3.575 million. The transaction has enabled Metta Food & Lifestyle, by leveraging Mountness’s resources, to continue developing their food and beverage business, the De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan and Cafe Chef Wan branded restaurant and café outlets. 

Acted for Finspark in relation to a proposed acquisition of the entire equity interest in MC Melaka Advisors for a total consideration of RM550,000. The target company carries on the business of providing financial planning services and rendering of management services. The proposed acquisition is expected to bring and create significant value in the financial planning sector in Malaysia.
