Wenger Plattner is an established Swiss law firm active in M&A and restructuring transactional work, as well as in advisory roles. The firm counsels on both international and domestic from its four offices in Basel, Berne, Geneva and Zurich Despite the firm being independent, it has a wide ranging international network with law firms.

 

Highlights

Deal highlights include advising the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as liquidators of Bank Hottinger & Cie AG since 2015. In 2023, the transaction was successfully executed in relation to the overall settlement for Bank Hottinger.

Wenger Plattner also played an important role advising as Swiss counsel for Novocure Ltd. In connection with the update of its $150 million credit facility the pharma industry.
