In debt capital markets, the firm advised on the market first USD 2 billion bond progaramme and the issuance of up to US$500 million as Series 1 bond issuance by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Debt Management Office (“DMO”).
The firm advised Shell International B. V. on the divestment of one hundred per cent of its shares in Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria to Renaissance Africa Energy Holding. This transaction represents one of the largest ever in the petroleum sector in Nigeria.
The firm also advised Transcorp Power Plc on listing its 7.5bn shares on the main board of the Nigerian Exchange Group. The listing of the Company was the first listing on the Nigerian Capital Market for the year 2024.
