He advises leading Egyptian corporations and has played a key role in many of the public offerings in Egypt over the past seven years. Tamer has extensive experience executing high-value acquisitions, restructurings, and divestitures across sectors including natural resources, manufacturing, construction, real estate, pharmaceuticals, and tourism. He has also advised on the sale of operational oil and gas fields by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.
- Represented Qatari Diar, wholly owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, in connection with a USD 29.7 billion strategic partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the development of an integrated urban community in Alam El Roum, Egypt.
- Represented MNT-Halan in its acquisition of 100% of Tam Finans, a leading finance company in Turkey with a loan book exceeding USD 300 million.
- Represented Hassan Allam Utilities in its joint venture with A.P. Moller Capital to establish an integrated logistics platform.
- Represented GB Auto Group in the sale of its 7.5% minority stake in MNT Investments B.V. to Chimera Investment through Chimprop 2 Investment SPV RSC Ltd., valued at approximately USD 71.3 million.
- Represented GB Auto Group (GB Corp) in the sale of its indirect minority stake to Chimera Investments, valued at EGP 835 million.
