Mohamed Abdel Fattah is a Partner at Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy and Head of the Capital Markets practice group. He is registered before the Courts of Cassation and has advised listed companies as well as public and private offerings in the Egyptian capital markets since 2006. With more than 20 years of experience, he is recognized for his expertise in capital markets transactions and regulatory matters involving the Egyptian Capital Market Authority. He has advised on numerous large-scale transactions since 2005. In 2018, he became the first registered founding agent for companies operating in non-banking financial activities in Egypt under the Financial Regulatory Authority.
- Represented Beltone Holding on the largest all-cash capital increase in the history of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), valued at EGP 10.5 billion.
- Represented Ferchem in the merger of Aswan Fertilizers and Chemical Industries and Abu Zaabal Fertilizer & Chemical into Ferchem, increasing the company's issued capital to EGP 800 million.
- Represented Act Financial in connection with its EGP 1.04 billion IPO, the first offering on the Egyptian stock market since 2022.
- Represented Beltone Capital in its joint venture agreement with CRIF S.p.A. to launch a credit ratings and business solutions company in Egypt.
- Represented Catalyst Partners in the launch and establishment of the first Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) with a starting capital of EGP 10 million.
