Recent examples of the firm’s deal work include advising Phu My 3 Bot Power Company on the landmark transfer of Vietnam's first foreign-invested build-operate-transfer (BOT) power plant to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) upon the expiry of its 20-year term. This precedent-setting conclusion establishes a critical framework for the handover of subsequent BOT projects in Vietnam.
The firm also acted as lead counsel to Mapletree Logistics Trust in its acquisition of two key Vietnamese logistics assets, Mapletree Logistics Park Phase 3 and Hung Yen Logistics Park I, from its sponsor, Mapletree Investments.
