AKHH’s senior team combines strong transactional and contentious expertise. Helena Adnan advises across banking and finance, capital markets, corporate and M&A, competition and private equity, while Erline Herrmann focuses on banking, corporate and M&A, private equity, energy and infrastructure. Erika Tobing’s practice spans corporate and M&A, capital markets, competition, construction and technology-related sectors. On the disputes side, managing partner Hendry Muliana Hendrawan and Stefanus Haryanto lead the firm’s contentious practice, while Johanes Bagus Dharmawan handles both disputes and transactional matters. The team handles acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and governance matters, providing support across due diligence, transaction structuring, documentation and regulatory compliance. Its submitted work reflects a notably international practice, with the firm advising on Indonesian elements of broader cross-border transactions and investments. Recent mandates include internal corporate restructurings, the establishment of a joint venture connected with a portfolio of Indonesian geothermal projects, and an investment involving a multi-jurisdictional data-centre platform.

AKHH also maintains an active dispute resolution practice covering civil, commercial, criminal and administrative proceedings, appellate litigation, regulatory disputes and arbitration. The team represents clients throughout Indonesia’s court system and in matters involving domestic and international arbitration. Its recent work includes proceedings concerning the recognition and enforcement of an international arbitral award, related annulment proceedings and a maritime cargo dispute that progressed through the Indonesian courts to the Supreme Court. The practice was further strengthened by the appointment of Husin Wiwanto as a partner in December 2025.

Sector expertise is particularly evident in energy and technology. The energy practice advises on mining, oil and gas, forestry and plantations, renewable energy and power matters, acting for Indonesian companies, state-owned enterprises and multinational corporations. In the technology and telecommunications space, AKHH advises domestic and multinational businesses across telecommunications, data centres, digital infrastructure, e-commerce, e-payments, internet services and software licensing. The practice combines transactional support with licensing and regulatory advice and has been involved in investments and joint ventures concerning Indonesian data-centre infrastructure as well as regulatory advice for digital platforms.
