Biography
Stefanus Haryanto is a founding partner and current Managing Partner of Adnan Kelana Haryanto & Hermanto. He also heads the firm’s dispute resolution practice.

A seasoned litigator with more than twenty-five years of experience, Stefanus has established himself as one of Indonesia’s leading dispute resolution lawyers. His practice extends across the full range of procedures, representing clients involved in civil, commercial, criminal, and administrative disputes before the general and administrative courts and administrative agencies in Indonesia, as well as numerous commercial disputes before domestic and international arbitral tribunals. In addition, he has acted as an expert witness in relation to matters of Indonesian law before a number of foreign courts and tribunals, including courts in the United States, England and Wales, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Stefanus has been recognized as a leading dispute resolution lawyer in Indonesia in many of the leading rankings, including Chambers Asia-Pacific, Asialaw, The Legal 500, and Who’s Who Legal, among others. He is also widely recommended for his insurance, competition, and debt restructuring practices.

Prior to entering legal practice, Stefanus spent thirteen years as a lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University Faculty of Law, where he taught subjects including commercial and environmental law, logic for lawyers, and Indonesian jurisprudence. Today, he continues to be involved in and remains a committed advocate for the development of legal education in Indonesia.
