Thomas Zivny

Thomas Zivny joined CERHA HEMPEL in 2000 and has been a partner since 2008. He is primarily active in the field of capital markets, project finance, healthcare and corporate law. His team advises banks in connection with project financing in the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, focussing in particular on real estate financing. The spectrum ranges from financing and restructuring to disposals and covers the entire life cycle of the real estate. In the field of debt capital markets, Thomas advises issuers of corporate bonds as well as bank issuance programmes.

• Most recently, he advised Kommunalkredit Austria, an Austrian specialist bank active in green, social and sustainable finance in relation to the 2025 update of its MTN programme as well as the issue of a EUR 500 million senior MREL bond and a EUR 150 million Tier 2 issuance.
• Thomas further advised Erste Group Bank AG in connection with a EUR 20 million financing for the Stop Shop Portfolio of Immofinanz in Poland.
