Volker Glas is Partner at CERHA HEMPEL and specializes in corporate finance transactions. He represents issuers and underwriters in debt and equity capital markets transactions, corporate borrowers, Austrian and international banks in syndicated loans, acquisition and project financings, and structured finance transactions.

• In 2025, Volker Glas advised VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe on tender offers for its total outstanding EUR 414.4 million subordinated notes and on the placement of EUR 300 million newly issued Tier 2 notes.
• In 2024, he advised stock exchange listed voestalpine AG on its successfully issue of its first green corporate bond for EUR 500 million. This was the first green bond in the European steel industry; accordingly
• Furthermore, he advised CA Immobilien Anlagen AG on its EUR 350 million fixed rate senior unsecured green bond issuance
