Alistair Gillespie

Alistair joined our firm 9 years ago as a Junior Associate and has been promoted to a Senior Associate position in October 2020. He is part of the Takeovers and Antitrust team, led by Albert Birkner, which specialises in corporate and M&A transactions.

Alistair's areas of work include complex cross border corporate and M&A transactions. However, he has also developed particular expertise in the area of real estate. He has advised a number of large corporate clients in complex cross-border M&A transactions.

• Allistair co-advised AMISOLA Immobilien AG ("AMISOLA"), a fully owned subsidiary of Karl Wlaschek Privatstiftung, one of the largest real estate investors, on the purchase of Saturn Tower Vermietungs GmbH Nfg. OG as well as the high-rise office building "Saturn Tower" itself from GENO Europa Fonds, a German real estate fund managed by Quadoro Investment GmbH.
• Allistair co-advised Agri Europe Cyprus Limited in connection with the intended acquisition of shares in the listed Addiko Bank AG, entailing up to 29.99% voting rights through a private purchase and by launching a voluntary public partial tender offer, alongside addressing the competing public tender offer by Nova Ljubljanska Banka d.d.
