Christian Aichinger

Christian is a very experienced capital markets and finance attorney with more than 15 years of experience in this field. With his economic and legal background he advises domestic and internationals clients in connection with any kind of financing and capital market transactions.

His transactions primarily include loans and related security instruments, corporate bonds including convertibles as well as equity markets issues of listed companies. Recently a key area of advice was on distressed finance and financial restructuring.

• In 2024, Christian co-advised stock exchange listed voestalpine AG on its successfully issue of its first green corporate bond (the first green bond in the European steel industry), for EUR 500 million with a term of five years and a coupon of 3.75%, with high investor demand, including private investors.
• He further in 2024 co- advised CA Immo on its EUR 350 million fixed rate senior unsecured green bond with a 5.5-year maturity and an annual coupon of 4.25%, with an orderbook oversubscribed by almost 5 times at final terms and strong demand from around 150 institutional investors.
