Lorenz Pracht

Lorenz Pracht is a ‘home grown’ attorney and spent his entire time as an associate and as an attorney at CERHA HEMPEL since he joined the firm in 2008.

He was appointed as partner in 2019 and has become a key member in our firm’s M&A practice. He has profound experience in complex cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and capital markets law. He has advised numerous large national and international corporate clients in complex M&A projects and on capital markets law.

Furthermore, he spent more than two years at one of Austria’s largest listed industrial companies, which contributed to making him a specialist in energy law matters.

• Co-advise (Lead: Clemens Hasenauer) of OMV as lead counsel in connection with the establishment of a USD 60+ billion global polyolefins group and the co-advice (Lead: Clemens Hasenauer) to OMV in connection with the intended acquisition by ADNOC of Mubadala's 24.9% interest in OMV, valued at about $4.1 billion.
• Moreover, he in 2024 advised Align Technology Inc. on the acquisition of all shares in Cubicare
• In 2024 he also co-advised AT&S on the sale of AT&S Korea to SO.MA.CI.S.
