Overview
Walkers is the biggest offshore law firm in the world. The firm’s Guernsey office is recognised for its strong capabilities across investment funds, corporate, banking and finance and regulatory. The team, led by managing partner Matt Sanders and partner Craig Cordle, regularly advises leading financial institutions, asset managers, and global corporates on complex cross-border transactions. Recent notable mandates include advising Equitix in the acquisition financing for substantial infrastructure and renewable energy assets with a cumulative value of approximately £1 billion.
Personnel Changes
Financial and corporate practitioner Alex Wickens was promoted to partner in July 2024. Walkers hired funds partner Gareth Morgan from Collas Crill in July 2025.
