Banking and finance

"They had the expertise through their partner and associates to deal with our specific needs and handle the negotiations with the financial institutions lawyers in a no-nonsense manner."

M&A

"Pinsent Mason provided solution-driven advice that supported the largest variable annuity transfer, including ensuring that we met the stringent central bank requirements. The transaction included a Day 1 reinsurance agreement with the buyer. The transaction, including court applications, was completed on time and without delay. The team provided advice on the multiple legal and regulatory issues that arose, including the regulatory framework, Central Bank of Ireland requirements, data privacy and employment law issues. The transaction was negotiated and completed through various lockdowns and I would commend the responsiveness and flexibility demonstrated by Pinsent Masons in delivering the different phases of the transaction."
