Acting as lead counsel, the team was responsible for navigating the merger control regime under Tanzanian law, including the preparation and submission of the merger notification to the Fair Competition Commission (FCC), as well as conducting regulatory analysis, advising on competition law implications, and liaising with the FCC to secure merger clearance. advised Harbor Investment Limited in relation to the proposed sale of its shares in Tanzania International Container Terminal Services to Adani International Ports Holdings PTE LTD. As lead counsel, the firm reviewed the share purchase agreement, attended negotiation meetings, prepared ancillary documents, and
provided legal advice on the transaction.
