Recent transactional highlights:
- Acting for I&M Holdings Limited in connection with its acquisition of 100% (one hundred percent) of the share capital of Orient Bank Limited, one of the largest commercial banks in Uganda.
- Advising GVC Holdings PLC in connection with the acquisition of A Better Place Limited and Gal Sports Betting Limited including conducting due diligences on A Better Place Limited and Gal Sports Betting Limited.
- Advising Echotel Proprietary Limited, one of the largest internet service providers in South Africa in connection with an acquisition of the entire business of iWay Africa Uganda Limited, one the leading African internet service providers offering solutions over satellite, fibre optic and wireless networks.
- Advising Toyota Tsusho, a Japanese trading house, in connection with its investment in Tugende Limited, which provides asset finance to bodaboda riders in Uganda and other East African countries. The investment was made jointly with CFAO (Toyota Tsusho's subsidiary headquartered in France) through their co-owned SPC in France named Mobility 54 Investment SAS.
