Fox and Wolff pursue Alcan

Skadden Arps partner David Fox and of counsel Margaret Wolff are acting for Alcoa in its bid for Alcan. Alcoa has submitted a $33 billion hostile offer for its fellow aluminium producer.

Skadden is co-counsel to Alcoa in the deal alongside Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton and Canadian firm Stikeman Elliot. The Skadden team also includes London partner Michael Hatchard.
