Zarrar is an associate in the Commercial Team at AMJ; he is qualified to practice in Pakistan and has a broad range of experience in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, projects, Islamic finance, joint-venture arrangements and general corporate and regulatory advisory. During his time with the firm Zarrar has acted for Government bodies as well as private sector clients in various innovative and complex transactions.
Zarrar is also actively involved in publications and has recently contributed practice notes to LexisNexis on various aspects of Omani law. Zarrar has also co-authored a contribution for Thompson Reuter’s Practical Law Guide regarding construction and projects sector in Oman.
Prior to joining AMJ in 2020, Zarrar practiced in one of Pakistan’s leading law firms where he routinely advised private real estate developers in connection with the planning and development of various real estate schemes and major infrastructure projects.
