Marcus Nivinger

Marcus Nivinger is a Partner in Setterwalls’ Corporate Group and has been with the firm since 2016. He has extensive experience advising issuers, investment banks, and equity sponsors on both private and public transactions. His practice covers IPOs, public takeover offers, share issues, capital markets transactions, ongoing advice to listed companies, and shareholder matters.

Marcus also advises on private M&A transactions, investments, and incentive programmes. His core practice areas include equity capital markets, corporate law, M&A, and venture capital, and he is a member of Setterwalls’ specialist groups in each of these fields. He regularly advises listed and unlisted companies on capital markets and corporate law matters and frequently acts as chairman at general meetings.

In addition to his transactional practice, Marcus lectures on prospectus matters and has contributed to publications including Securities Transactions in Europe (Thomson Reuters) and the Take Over Guide, Sweden (IBA).
