Biography
Daniel Hulmann studied at the University of Fribourg, graduating in 2012. He joined Homburger as an associate in 2014. In 2018, he graduated with an LLM from Victoria University of Wellington. Prior to joining Homburger again in 2022, he worked as a senior legal advisor in a leading New Zealand law firm.
Daniel Hulmann’s practice focuses on banking and capital markets law. He also advises clients on corporate and contract law as well as on financial services regulation.
Recent matter/case highlights
- Advised Idorsia Ltd on the public repurchase offer to exchange a series of unsecured convertible bonds with a principal amount of CHF 800 m in aggregate against newly issued "PayIf-You-Can" notes;
- Advised UBS Switzerland AG on the setup of its Swiss covered bond programme and various issuances thereunder;
- Advised UBS Group AG on various issuances of Tier 1 Capital Notes and Senior (TLAC) Notes under its Senior Deb Programme.
