The US government is planning to strengthen oversight of Chinese companies involved in technology transactions with the US

Under US law, Chinese investors generally remain free to invest in the US. In fact, modification of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (Cfius) requirements will make Cfius challenges more straightforward in some ways. At the same time, the US government plans to intensify controls on exports to China in ways that could complicate US business dealings with China, particularly in the high technology sector....
