IFLR Asia awards 2013

Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer were the big winners at IFLR's annual Asia awards, held in Hong Kong on February 28. Clifford Chance won international law firm of the year, was also involved on two winning deals, and was shortlisted in all eight team of the year categories.

Freshfields was also celebrating after picking up the prestigious China practice award, which rewards international firms for their innovation within China. The firm was also named equity team of the year.

Herbert Smith Freehills won IFLR's first financial services regulatory team of the year: the award was created to respond to increasing demand due to global regulatory issues. As for in-house teams, HSBC received the in-house debt and equity-linked team of the year award while Credit Suisse scored the in-house equity team of the year award.
