Clifford Chance triumphs in IFLR Europe awards
Clifford Chance has won international law firm of the year at IFLR’s Europe awards in London.
The magic circle firm scooped the award following its successes on both restructuring and structured finance team awards and four country awards.
“Clifford Chance has excelled across the continent this year and I congratulate them on their success,” said managing editor Tom Young.
Linklaters was also celebrating, having dominated in capital markets work and picking up debt and equity-linked and equity team awards.
The ceremony, held at the Dorchester hotel in London tonight also saw Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom win M&A team, Willkie Farr & Gallagher pick up private equity and White & Case scoop project finance awards.
The ceremony included this year’s regulatory services award, which Paul Tucker of the Bank of England won. IFLR’s lifetime award was picked up Emmanuel Maurice of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
