Brazilian judge: corruption reform to increase FDI

Foreign direct investment into Brazil will increase if a bill that make companies liable for corrupt business practices is passed, Sao Paulo Federal Appeals Court Judge Fausto De Sanctis has told IFLR.

"The proposed law is a very important mechanism to combat corruption," Judge Sanctis told IFLR. "Fines, suppressions of tax benefits, temporary closures and terminations are some of the possible punishments."
