Foreign direct investment into Brazil will increase if a
bill that make companies liable for corrupt business practices
is passed, Sao Paulo Federal Appeals Court Judge Fausto De
Sanctis has told IFLR.
"The proposed law is a very important mechanism to combat
corruption," Judge Sanctis told IFLR. "Fines, suppressions of
tax benefits, temporary closures and terminations are some of
the possible punishments."
