Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) enforcement head has called for a more global approach to regulatory control of financial centres.
During his keynote speech at this week’s IFLR Asia Capital Market Forum, SFC’s executive director of enforcement, Mark Steward said the ramifications of what it means to operate a global financial centre still needed to be addressed.
