HKEx not threatened by Asian exchange mergers

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange will not be threatened by emergent exchanges in Asia.

Speaking at IFLR’s Asia Capital Markets Forum, HKEx executive vice president and market development head, Romnesh Lamba said the Australia-Singapore exchange tie-up would not present direct competition – at least in its first phase.
