A necessary headache

The past 18 months have been hectic for Jasmin Kölbl-Vogt. From being part of the Citigroup team, she was promoted to head of legal for Germany and Austria. She was then heavily involved in discussions with the German regulator (Bafin) in the fallout of Lehman Brothers and in the sale of the retail arm of Citigroup in December. There was even time to introduce a new Kölbl-Vogt into the world: Leena was born in August last year.

"I worked here, really, to the last second. I went and picked up my two other children from kindergarten then went to the hospital," she says. "In the morning my husband asked if I wanted him to drive me home or to the office. Even two days later my little one joined me when I cleared up my desk."
