Chicago's Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal has snapped up a
further 18 lawyers for its New York practice. The move is the
latest in a flurry of recent efforts by out-of-town firms to
rapidly grow their offices in the city.
In August, Sonnenschein hired 18 attorneys from Cooperman,
Levitt, Winikoff, Lester & Newman's, which represents about
