The head of Cameron McKenna's Hong Kong corporate finance
practice, along with several of his team, is heading for Brown
& Wood. According to Cameron McKenna, the firm is refocusing
its corporate practice in an attempt to win more lucrative
cross-border M&A and securities deals.
Gordon Ng has been at the firm since April 1999 and joins Brown
& Wood on October 1. His team has completed three main board
listings and one Gem listing in that time. That type of practice
had
not existed at the firm before his arrival, but it seems that
the writing was on
the wall soon after he joined Cameron McKenna.
In August last year Chris Clarke and Janine Canham joined as
