A former chairman of Baker & McKenzie is betting on a new
internet business that aims to change the way law firms pitch for
business.
John Klotsche, who left Baker & McKenzie in August after
more than 30 years with the firm, has joined an online service for
which corporations needing legal advice invite firms to compete for
the work. Klotsche says the business, eLawForum, is in response to
a "dramatic shift in leverage away from law firms to corporate
counsel"....
