Hosted by managing editor Rob Mannix and associate publisher Leon Wingham, the glittering evening saw 17 awards handed out to the leading international and national law firms in the region. With four categories for deal of the year, four more for team of the year and eight regional winners, few diners went away empty-handed.
The full list of winners is presented over the next pages. IFLR rewarded the most innovative deals originated in the Middle East in debt, equity, project finance and M&A over the last year. Although many of the winning transactions were high profile or newsworthy, it was the structural inventions and groundbreaking work that IFLR rewarded.
