The IFLR Austrian law firm of the year, Schönherr, advised on the creation of Nokia Siemens Networks and the Carnuntum CDO. The winner in the Baltics was Lawin, highlighted this year for its work advising Yukos International in the sale of its interests in AB Mazeikiu Nafta, and being involved in the issue of Eurobonds by the Republic of Lithuania. The Belgian winner, Loyens & Loeff, advised on the IFLR short-listed securitisation of the year, Dana Hybrid. It also had big roles on the De Smet Ballestra Group buy-out and Project C-Power. And in the Czech Republic, winning firm White & Case acted on the PPF / Generali joint venture, the Euro-Druckservice acquisition and the VGP and Ablon IPOs....
