ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Women in Business Law Awards recognise leading women for their contributions to the practice of business law along with the firms that have developed the most progressive initiatives towards diversity and inclusion from throughout the region.

We award law firms that have developed strong innovative practices and projects that highlight gender diversity, as well as women lawyers working in business law. We recognise up and coming women lawyers in their field and champion firms who have encouraged the growth of women talent in their countries and globally. The shortlists and winners are published on our website and social media.

THE JUDGING AND RESEARCH PROCESS

A dedicated research team then conducts a series of peer review interviews – face-to-face and over the phone – with leading female practitioners across multiple areas of law and jurisdictions verifying much of the information provided. The team will also incorporate other research from within the other brands in the Legal Benchmarking Group in order to further refine the results.

This year the Women in Business Law Awards are partnering with The Lawyer, the leading news and intelligence information resource for the legal industry.
