As of September 10, Buckingham is part of Herbert Smith's financial services regulatory practice, where it is hoped he will strengthen the firm's non-contentious regulatory offering. "I am looking forward to helping clients address the ever-quickening pace of regulatory change, including, in the immediate future, assisting them with the significant and time critical task of complying with the requirements of Mifid," he said.
