Biography

Yinka Edu is in the firm’s Banking & Finance team and heads the firm's Capital Markets and Fintech teams. More recently she has also become a key partner within the Compliance and investigations team. She has been involved in a diverse range of financial, capital markets and fintech transactions.

  • Advised ENS Africa/Africa Finance Corporation (“AFC”) in connection with a term loan facility of up to US$15,000,000.00
  • Advised Lafarge Africa PLC on the restructuring of its US$309,000,000 inter-company loan and its proposed debt capital raise of US$200,000,000.
  • Advised FBNQuest Trustees Limited & SKYE Trustees Limited in connection with issuance of Sukuk, by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Debt Management Office, to the public for the construction of federal highways and roads in Nigeria
