Victor Padurari

Victor is primarily involved in finance and projects, including secured lending, project finance, LBOs, real estate finance, PPPs, concessions, governmental public debt and municipal finance, as well as general corporate and commercial law, real estate and state aid. He regularly acts for international financial institutions on their largest project financing transactions in the Romanian energy sector.

• Barclays Bank PLC as arranger for Alpha Bank Romania on the first mortgage bonds issue programme in Romania with a value of EUR 1 billion
• A syndicate of banks made up of Banca Comercială Română, as coordinator, ING Bank Amsterdam – Bucharest Branch, Raiffeisen Bank and UniCredit Țiriac Bank on a USD360m credit facility granted to KMG International 
• An international financial institution on a USD60m financing to SNTGN Transgaz SA Medias for the construction of Phase 1 of the Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary-Austria corridor (BRUA project) 
• China Huadian Engineering on the joint venture with Complexul Energetic Oltenia, the largest coalfired electricity producer in Romania, for the construction and operation of a 600MWh power plant
• Unicredit Bank AG on the financing of JD Agrococora, a large player in agribusiness market in Romania
