Alexandru Retevoescu

Alexandru focuses primarily on banking and finance and real estate projects, having extensive experience in various real estate transactions, including office, logistics, residential, commercial, infrastructure, farmland deals. He has provided advice to major national and international banks in connection with real estate finance transactions, banking regulatory matters, corporate finance, leveraged finance and project finance transactions. Alexandru also has significant experience in the energy sector. He is also experienced at advising on debt restructuring matters and has prior experience of working on both formal insolvency and informal restructuring proceedings.

• The arrangers on the EUR1.15bn financing of the CME acquisition by PPF Group N.V.
• A syndicate of banks made up of Raiffeisen Bank International and Raiffeisen Bank Romania as coordinators and Raiffeisen Bank International, Banca Transilvania, UniCredit Bank, Garanti Bank and Intesa SanPaolo Romania as lenders on a USD68m credit facility granted to Alro for covering general corporate needs and working capital of the company as well as future investments
• ING Tech, the global software development hub of the ING group, on the lease of an office space with an area of 13,000 sqm for the new headquarters of the company
• The arranging banks on a EUR177m financing for P&P Spearhead, a group engaged in the agricultural sector primarily in CEE
• Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and funds managed by Cairn Capital on the EUR180m secured bond financing agreement of Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd.
