Shuji Koyama

Shuji Koyama is a partner in Atsumi & Sakai and heads the firm’s real estate group. He has handled a wide variety of transactions including real estate, real estate finance, acquisition finance, project finance, securitization, banking, ABL and trust.

Before joining Atsumi & Sakai in 2010, he worked at Jones Day, Tokyo and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (Orrick Tokyo Law Offices).

• Advised equity investors in connection with acquisitions of logistic facilities (approx. JPY 120 billion);
• Advised equity investors in connection with acquisition of a new office building (approx. JPY 48 billion);
• Advised a foreign real estate investment management firm in connection with an acquisition of a state-of-the art office building in Japan (approx.40 million).
• Advised a foreign real estate investment management firm in connection with an acquisition of a landmark office building in Japan
• Represented a foreign financial group in connection with an acquisition of commercial facilities in Tokyo
