Atty. Raoul R. Angangco, or “Reggie” to his friends, is known in the legal community as a preeminent practitioner of Philippine business law, particularly in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, infrastructure, mining, real estate and construction. His almost forty (40) years of practice have been marked with distinction, having been recognized as a leading individual by various international legal review publications, such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 and named as one of the Philippines’ Top 100 Lawyers for two years in a row by the Asia Business Law Journal.
Atty. Angangco served as one of the youngest presidents of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the mandatory bar association of all lawyers in the country, from 1995 to 1997. He has also held positions in various bar associations, both international and local, such as the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, Law Association for Asia and the Pacific, International Bar Association, World Jurist Association, Philippine Bar Association, Philippine Constitution Association, Maritime Law Association of the Philippines and ASEAN Law Association of the Philippines. Atty. Angangco is also active in industry associations in the Philippines, namely, Management Association of the Philippines and Investment House Association of the Philippines. He currently serves as a director in several Philippine public and private corporations engaged in insurance, manufacturing, mining, real estate development, and education.
