Atty. Mark Benjamin C. Yam is a Partner with more than ten years of corporate law experience, including representation in civil claims and rehabilitation proceedings. He specializes in the fields of anti-trust and competition, telecommunications, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, e-commerce and immigration. Mark has also been involved in major mergers and acquisitions in various fields including telecommunications, information technology and construction.
He has extensive experience in the field of immigration and emigration, as well as related labor laws, providing efficient and extensive services to both local and foreign clients of various sizes. Mark is well-versed in the processing of various forms of working and non-working visas, working permits, as well as Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC) for emigrating Filipino nationals through direct hiring, and is the key contact for immigration concerns for the Firm. He also regularly advises clients on regulatory compliance with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
Mark earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2008.
