Biography
Philippe Weber specializes in large and complex corporate finance, capital market and M&A transactions with a particular focus on listed entities, financial institutions and other large enterprises. He is a recognised representative for listings on SIX and regularly advises clients on all aspects of takeover and securities law.

- Swiss lead counsel on the largest Swiss IPO of the year in 2021 (PolyPeptide; issuer counsel), 2020 (InaInvest; underwriter counsel), 2019 (Stadler Rail; issuer counsel), 2018 (SIG Combibloc; underwriter counsel), 2017 (Landis+Gyr; issuer counsel), 2016 (VAT; issuer counsel), 2015 (Sunrise; underwriter counsel) and 2014 (SFS; issuer counsel).
- Swiss counsel to NEC in the CHF 2.05 billion takeover of Swiss heaquartered software Avaloq Group (2020/21).
- Advised ASSA ABLOY AB (publ), the largest global supplier of intelligent door opening solutions listed on Stockholm Stock Exchange, on the indirect acquisition of a 54% controlling interest in agta record ag. The transaction value amounts to approx. EUR 933 million.
- Advised Paris listed Atos / Worldline in its agreement to enter into a strategic partnership where Worldline acquired SIX Payment Services, the payment services division of SIX, for a consideration of CHF 2.75 billion.
- Counsel to UBS, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley in the CHF 4.1 billion rights offering of Sunrise Communications in connection with the planned acquisition of UPC Switzerland.
