Her specialisations include corporate and project finance, debt restructuring, structured finance, trade finance, fintech, debt capital markets, insolvency and corporate advisory. Onyinye regularly advises international banks on derivatives and structured finance transactions.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised a consortium of banks in connection with the US$200,000,000.00 (two hundred million United States Dollars) facility which the syndicate of Lenders proposed to provide to Stanbic IBTC PLC
- Advised FMO and Proparco (the “Lenders”) on the provision of a USD93,800,000 tier-2 unsecured and subordinated loan to Access Bank Plc
- Advised Africa Finance Corporation and Rand Merchant Bank in connection with a term loan facility in an amount of up to US$95,000,000.00 which it proposed to provide to MTN Nigeria Communications PLC.
- Advised Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited in connection with loan facilities in a cumulative amount of up to NGN3,000,000,000 which it proposed to provide to Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited.
- Advised ABSA Bank Limited in relation to the grant of a term loan in the sum of USD 13,000,000 to Ikoyi Hotels Limited.
