Michael Serring is highly specialised in the area of insolvency law and has performed as trustee of several thousand bankruptcy estates, including some of the largest in Denmark. Michael advises banks, etc., on the handling of complex and distressed loans, often as counterparty to a bankruptcy estate.
Michael has conducted numerous cases before the ordinary Danish courts and the Danish bankruptcy courts, including many pioneering cases on insolvency matters, and cases on management responsibility. He is, moreover, a seasoned lecturer. Michael has substantial experience with debt collection, including the uncovering of mislaid assets, and has over the years performed as trustee of more than a thousand estates in bankruptcy. Michael was featured in a recent article in “Inside Business”, and a recent report from the Danish Competition Authority identified him as one of the lawyers in Denmark being appointed in most bankruptcy cases over the last 5 years.
